La Granja Project<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t\t

La Granja<\/strong> is one of the world's most important undeveloped copper deposits. It is located in the district of Querocoto, province of Chota, Cajamarca region, approximately 90 km northeast of the city of Chiclayo, in the Lambayeque region.\n

\nThe recent update to the 2026 Technical Report confirms the scale and strategic importance of the project, with mineral resources containing 43.7 million tons of copper. Of this total, 23 million tons correspond to measured and indicated resources, and 20.7 million tons to inferred resources.\n

\nGiven its scale, resource quality, and development potential, La Granja is projected to be a world-class operation, capable of generating long-term economic and social benefits for Cajamarca and Peru, with an estimated mine life of over 40 years.<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

The project is being developed by First Quantum Minerals<\/strong> (FQM), which holds a 55% stake, in partnership with Rio Tinto<\/strong> (45%).
