La Granja Project

La Granja is one of the world’s most significant undeveloped copper deposits. It is located in the Querocoto district, Chota province, Cajamarca region, approximately 90 km northeast of the city of Chiclayo, in the Lambayeque region.

The recent update to the 2026 Technical Report confirms the scale and strategic importance of the project, with mineral resources containing 43.7 million tons of copper. Of this total, 23 million tons correspond to measured and indicated resources, and 20.7 million tons to inferred resources.

Given its scale, resource quality, and development potential, La Granja is projected to be a world-class operation, capable of generating long-term economic and social benefits for Cajamarca and Peru, with an estimated mine life of over 40 years.

Today, the project is in an advanced exploration stage and preparing to begin our socio-environmental studies, which will comprehensively evaluate the various components required for its development and viability.

The La Granja Project is entering a new phase, beginning a study period aimed at confirming the project's socio-environmental viability. Our primary concern is ensuring water protection, safeguarding the environment, and collaboratively building a mining project that benefits the entire northern region of the country, especially the communities within our area of influence and wherever the project operates.

We believe that sustainable development is built together

Therefore, we promote transparent dialogue, active listening and a respectful territorial presence, working with communities, authorities and local actors.
